Estimación del Potencial Energético Eólico para la Ciudad de Juliaca, Perú

Resumen

En el contexto actual de reconversión de la base energética, el viento es una buena fuente de energía que se viene aprovechando en muchos países del mundo. Es una fuente de energía renovable que se utiliza para la generación de electricidad, el bombeo de agua y muchas otras actividades. Pero en el Perú, en ciertas regiones, la extracción de energía eólica es más difícil debido a la baja velocidad del viento. La presente investigación trata sobre la estimación del potencial de energía eólica disponible en la ciudad de Juliaca. Los datos de viento obtenidos en la estación meteorológica del campus de la  Universidad Nacional de Juliaca, ubicada en la siguiente  coordenada  -15.489172,  -70.152718, zona urbana de Juliaca se analizan en términos de parámetros establecidos, como la distribución Weibull, la distribución de frecuencias de las direcciones del viento. Nos puede ayudar a comprender cuánta energía tenemos y cuánta energía se puede utilizar de manera fructífera.Palabras claves: Potencial eólico, distribución de Weibull, rosa de vientos, velocidad de viento.
